Individual therapy for women and mothers

As women we will face many life changes such as transitioning into motherhood, learning how to parent, finding a healthy work/life balance, and relationship issues. I understand the unique challenges and changes women face throughout life and I know how important it is to have support during those times. I am here to help support you as you navigate life changes.

Meet Joanna

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in individual therapy with women. I have a passion for helping women navigate life changes and heal from past traumas. I have experience working with women as they transition into motherhood, work through parenting issues, relationship issues, and healing from divorce. I also have experience working with women who are divorcing a narcissistic partner.

My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and my goal is to help you feel empowered. I view each client as an expert in their own life and my role as a therapist is to support you and help guide you on your healing journey.

If you are interested in setting up a session please contact me. I am also happy to have a short phone consultation prior to working together to make sure we are a good fit.

Life Transitions

Parenting

Relationship Issues

Relationship issues are inevitable. We all deal with them at some point in our life. Relationship issues do not just include our partners but also relationships with family members. I specialize in providing individual therapy to help women work through relationship issues with partners and family. I also have experience working with women who are going through the healing process of a divorce.

Parenting is one of the most rewarding jobs we will ever do but let's be honest it is also the hardest. It can help to have a professional to discuss parenting issues with and to develop a plan to help you better navigate parenting issues.

As women we will face many life transitions and it can be helpful to have a therapist to support you through those transitions. Life transitions can include starting college, moving out on your own, becoming a parent, going through a divorce, blending families, and much more.
